It's that time of year again - registration is open!

Have you ever wanted to do one of those long charity walks?

3 days of walking, sharing the experience with a group of people who share your passion for finding a cure for Breast Cancer? But you just know that your body can’t take the abuse of 3 days and 60 miles, the blisters, the leg cramps, sleeping in tents on the ground after brutally long days of walking…but how else can you support and honor those you know and care about???

We have a way for you to do the same thing…but instead of walking for 60miles, getting blisters on top blisters, we’re going to treat you to a weekend of pampering.

Success at Pat and Oscar's!

Recently Teri Kincade and Beth Oliver hosted a fundraiser at Pat and Oscar's in Temecula. After papering the city in pink with info about the fundraiser and letting all of their friends and family in on the plan, they headed over to Pat and Oscar's and had a fun evening. Mom and I even stopped by to support them. Of course I'm always looking for an excuse to go there...breadsticks, need I say more?

It was a fun evening watching them great friends and family and seeing those coupons being waved in line! I just found out from Teri that they raised $164.00 that night! I'm so proud of them. Let me know if you would like information about setting up a night for yourself.

There are also other resturants that will be willing to host fundraising evenings for you.

Baby Steps

This morning we spent a few hours in the sun and wind selling scrapbook items and having a fun time. There were only a few of us, but that didn't seem to matter, we had fun just in being outside and making our first baby steps towards our $2,000.00 goals for the 3Day Crop. We had people waiting while we set up our goodies to sell! There always seems to be a few! Baby steps are good, gets you excited! Teri Kincade had a great fundraising idea...she made cupcakes, 3 of the cupcakes were rainbow colored and for a $5.00 donation you could choose a cupcake and if you were lucky enough to find a rainbow cupcake she had a goodie basket for you! It was fun and who doesn't like cupcakes so even if you didn't find a rainbow cupcake you still came out a winner!

Welcome to the 3Day Crop - 6 months and counting

Wha hoo...six months until the 3Day Crop! I am so excited about this year's event that I just can not wait. You should have received the first newsletter for the 3Day Crop. If you didn't, please contact me!

I need from you as soon as you can get it to me, your event bio and your picture. We will place this on the website and you will be able to direct your sponsors to it and they will in turn be able to make on-line donations for you using their credit cards.

Also May 22nd is the SBR Garage Sale in Oceanside, CA. You can bring scrapbooking related items to sell, if you have other stuff you want to drag out too that cool.
We will begin set up at 8am and open when everyone is ready or by 9am. It's $2.00 to come and shop. Spread the word to your scrapbooking buddies! Let them know there will be tons of goodies available!

June 8th, Teri Kincade has set up a fundraising night at Pat and Oscar's in Temecula.
We can send you flyer's if anyone is interested! This is a great and easy way to raise some bucks! Pat and Oscar's, Chevy's, Soupplantion and many other restaurants offer this as possible way to raise funds!

Event notebooks, will be on the way soon. They have lots of ideas and hopefully useful information and forms to help you over the next 6months.

Whatever you do...remember we are doing this together! You are not alone!

Cheers to a fun journey!

Beyond all expectations!

Wow!

I have to admit that it's surprised me how quickly the 3Day Crop has filled up and I can not wait to get the ladies working on their fundraising. Although our goal is to each raise $2,000.00, raising more would be like the frosting on our cupcake an extra treat and the real reason we reach for the cupcake to begin with!
So here is to an exciting 7 months~ I can't wait to see what time brings our way!

51 days to go...

Alright ladies,

We have just about 51 days to go...so far I have 4 of the 6 participants who have their photo and bios up on the Scrapbook Royalty website, it's really cool you should go check it out and then write me a quick bio about why you're doing the 3Day Crop, send it to me with a picture and we'll get your information up on the website too.

There is still plenty of time for you to collect your $2,000.00 in donations. We have 2 of our participants that are both over half way there. It just takes a little effort and some time. So far the letter campaign has been the most effective. You have several different versions in the notebook, use one or write your own. The trick seems to be sending a self addressed envelope!

Tonight is the Pat and Oscar's dinner, I hope you all passed out flyers. I'm heading out to the Carlsbad location in just a few minutes.

Let me hear from you if you have any questions. We still have space for 4 more people to join us!
